MHOC thats really lovely and spooky about nat siblings day.:A
dh out on a big bike ride today so wen to a , only little shop, so no apg.only got 3 things.went for fresh air and walk but didnt take salwag as I would have to tie her upoutside and dont like to leave her cos only the other day in a town near us,2 chiwawas were stolen from their front garden by some gypsies walking by.was on fb cos they had cctv but I was so upset.dh in police and they found 15 dogs in woods that had been used for dog fighting, a few months ago.please be vigilant as its a horrid way to die for these dogs and such pain for the owners.salwag is far too trusting and will go with anyone for food, so I would be heartbroken if anything happened to my :A.
Sometimes I wish she was abit more weary of strangers cos she is so goodnatured and soft.shes like a big bear and she loves everybody.im afraid this dog fighting trend is filtering down fron the big cities much like the craze for pitbull drugs dogs being owned as a weapon which started in america then caught on here.
im sorry to go on as this isnt the place , but just wanted to warn all doggie owners and doggie lovers not to be complacant, as these ppl will grab any dog, even in their own front garden.scum :mad:hope wat goes round comes back round on them.the punishments are a joke but to lose a dog is like losing a member of your family and worse sometimes because you know they have suffered.
am getting off my carex box now, thanks for listening.:A

Its fine to publicise these things. 3dogs knows a lot about it all. as do a few others. And its well known what my views are on animal cruelty. xxx

I do indeed Bananababe, and I agree with you ILGD, the dog fighting gangs are on the increase in this country. There are even pages on Fb that openly publicise it. Police prefer the pages to not be reported to FB and be removed as they track the gangs on their activity on there. But lots of campaigns trying to help. The best thing most people can do is to NEVER leave a dog unattended, for example outside of a shop or in their front garden, and NEVER advertise a pet free to good home or otherwise on sites like Gumtree (Scumtree to us). Awareness, as always, is the answer and if you have any suspicions about anyone involved in dog fighting then contact the police as they have special squads looking into this

As you say ILGD, terrible for all the dogs involved in this, either as bait or the fighting dogs themselves. So many found injured after being used like this, truly heartbreaking :(

Those of us who adore our dogs and treat them like family, need to cuddle them closer and keep them safe :D

Went in yesterday for my leaflet for free tempur travel pillow, I got one last year too so sending this one to my Mums.

Its always so weird being asked to try the beds. They really are comfy but at £2000 for the Mattress alone , really ?? I sleep well enough at night thanks on my silent night one xxx
