I have 2 small dogs. one is timid and the other a bit of a bully.
the littlest one runs to the door and barks to go out.
we open door and the larger dominant one pushes past and goes out 1st.
with that in mind the littlest one then backs up and goes into the kitchen for a treat. (she don't eat a lot so we give her one when we can).
she has learnt to do this trick every time she wants a treat.
the dominant one is on a diet so that's why he don't get so many treats.
just a case of brains over brawn

Told her I couldnt remember then blocked her view of my fresh £10 PP coming out f the self scan. Hands off my flatbreads mrs0

And He is growing up now so is having body odour issues. but he he point blank refuses to wash/bath and even getting him to change is pants/socks is a full on battle. He comes up (once a week) and he's still in the same underwear he went home in.
What does you OH say to him I understand he may not like advice from you but he surely must be outcast at school if he smells so badly and that is not good0 -

If I die between Spring and Autumn I'll never regain that hour I lost. Also I don't want to gain extra hours with my stepson and lose them on my peaceful weekends
Ah well, if it causes you that much distress you can always try engineering it in your favour? Six months to hatch your plan - it can be scheduled years in advance and you don't even have to say anything as most people wouldn't spot it. You can then feel smug every time that it happens that you have got one up on OH/OH-ex and/or your stepson .
In fact, that would play to my sense of humour too if that were me.

But in reality you have not lost or gained anything your actual time on this earth will be the same even if the clocks moved forward or backwards days
Maybe so - but it sounds very much as though every hour spent with the steppie takes a month or so offthe OPs life ! I can well understand that.ELITE 5:2
