    I am absolutely exhausted. :o:)

    In a nice way:)

We've had family calling by, now friends. I've been cooking for England:rotfl:

Just thinking how often I come on here all smug, boasting about how little I spend on food:eek:

Well that's only because there's. 2 of us. Honestly I don't know how lot do it with children at home. I had a fridge full of food and freezers bursting at the seams and here I am 3 days later nearly out of bread, milk and fruit juice :rotfl: whole joints are disappearing at each meal. I bake a cake and it disappears. Fruit bowls are emptied and boxes of chocolate are gobbled up.

    It's like a plague of locusts:rotfl:

Same here. While it is lovely to have them home, absolutely no quantity control. Random meals at random times and a mess. Everywhere.

I've gone back to hiding stuff in the garage fridge; there seems to be some self control if there is only ever 1 cartoon of fruit juice in sight and 1 pint of milk. Show them the weekend's stock pile and it would have disappeared by Saturday night.

It's good for courgetti and such. I got asked to work another shift tomorrow at Ideal Home and a stand is selling them for £15. They're usually around £25.

    Daily bump.

Thanks to everyone who has donated so far.

The night before the race I will post Tashas number and if you go online you can track her progress as all runners are tagged.
Maybe DM could run one of his popular sweepstakes on her finishing time. :D

I don't need to explain the important job of find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma. In America they are being quite successful using the hiv virus to attack the bad cells but a cure is still some way off.
I am plugging this hard as Dads type is hereditary. We now know of several male family members who had the same strain.
I am passionate a cure be found so my son's, nephew and dgs don't have to worry.

it could be just me but all these gadgets that do things to vegetables make me cringe :o those mandolin things that people use on cookery programmes make me shield my eyes :o :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

in reality how much courgetti would you use? I have to say I'm not a gadget for gadgets sake person. That said......I cooked pork chops for the first time EVER today :o so what do I know. I won't get to courgetti for at least 20 years :rotfl:

  • TM...so sorry to hear the bad news , really hope shes ok.some years ago my friends had the news of their dd falling from a balcony in spain.never got to the actual cause.she left a young baby son and I remember how shock the whole community was.it was so hard as it happened abroad which madecit worse cos they couldnt get to her and am afraid, foreign police are not a patch on ours, even if we think sometimes they are crap.i think they still cant really take it in to this day.i wil pray for a positive outcome for the girl and her friends and family.x
People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with :)

I suppose if you have lots of things you want to spiralize it's a good discount. I don't think I would use it once the novelty had worn off but our meals tend to be functional rather than pretty lol.
