Evening, hope everyone's having a great Easter Sunday
I'm glad shops are closed but I must admit I'm really bored.
DS is watching top gear reruns, complaining about the loss of clarkson and the rebranding of top gear live so I'm pretending to do some work just so I don't hear the same arguments over and over again.
I've run out of things to search for that I need to buy for arts and crafts sessions but thankfully DS has given up on the top gear lecture so might just watch the rest of it quietly incase he notices me not on the net.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Quidco in store cash back......
I realised earlier I forgot to register my new debit card on Quidc o for instore CB. I've just changed it now. They have some limited time instore offers which you have to activate and they are valid for 7 days. I have never noticed these before. I don't know if the offers are the same for everyone or not but well worth a look. I haven't checked OH account yet.
I have 25% CB for Halfords, 50% for cafe nero and 20% at Debenhams and JD sports. These are on all in-store purchases.
It may already be common knowledge but might help someone like myself who was totally unaware of it0 -

am up to date
when reading back last nite, I was abit sad about some of the posts getting alittle personal..but everyones entitled to their op.ican see both sides but the only thing that was not right was to make a comment about a poster who wasnt there at the time so couldnt reply.i enjoy the banter on here and I like that some posters make me think in a different way.also I dont find DAVIDSposts abrupt.he is beingvery sage like with his wisdom lately along with his joking:cool:
its good sometimes to agree to differ but I appreiciate that ppl feel strongly about stuff and thats fine, but words do hurt as much as sticks and stones and who wants to hurt someone else wen theres no need?
been really good weather here so washings out:T
hope you are all enjoying the day off shopping:rotfl:

Morning Elite and happy easter.
My easter bunny arrived at 3.30 this morning weighing in at a healthy 7lb 5oz.
No name yet and the home birth was thwarted at the last hurdle in the shape of the local health authority, who sent an ambulance at the last minute and insisted the midwife accompany her to the hospital, only to be told that the midwife couldn't stay as it was not her domain.......
All done now and home safe and soundbest wishes to you all xx
Huge congrats Wendyak :T
Happy Easter to all on the elite. Hope you have all had a good weekend.
Caught up on the thread and there's just a couple of points I can't help but make.
I am still new on here so don't know anyone or their past but just making observations. There are definite double standards on here at time. Some people post about their huge glitches and get patted on the back and others get slated, personally seems unfair.
Shouldn't single anyone out but Poppy definitely seems to get the brunt of a lot of snidey comments and I think last nights personal attack on her and the children comments were way out of order. Yes we are all entitled to our own opinions but how other people spend their personal time is really none of our business.
Two things I will say in Poppy's defence, is that I find her very informative with her posts and helps others out a lot with their questions.
Secondly, she certainly knows how to refrain from biting back, I'm sure we could all pick fault in other people's lives and how they spend their time but Poppy refrained from sinking to this level.0
