Good morning all.
Happy Easter to you all.:D
I've just caught up properly ( at last), and must say that I think that posting the results of very large apg's is at best unwise. As was pointed out the A team do read mse, specifically to spot anomalies in their pricing. With that in mind, a bit of circumspection is a good thing. By all means post what compares nicely, but without the apg details of the voucher generated, particularly if it is a big one. This gives the required information of the comparison, which is the reason for posting it.
It has long been thought that taking over the the top advantage of the system will result in its demise, as it did with Ts r&r, and their very generous coupon policy. Posting about huge single shot apgs could cause A to rethink their policy, and you can bet your boots that it wouldn't be to our advantage.
We all do so well out of their system. I've read about people being able to feed their families 'proper food', having holidays for the first time ever, giving to foodbanks, being able to afford little luxuries on the cheap that they had not been able to afford before. We as a team/family/group of people have changed some people's lives for the better.
FC posts wisely I think. Her general thought is moderation. The buzz of glitching, and getting stuff for pennies or free is addictive. The sense of achievement is a good feeling. It prompts us to repeat the action that gave us that feeling, but it can cause us to focus on glitching at the expense of other things.
I've realised this, and have reined in my enthusiam. I have a very good stash, and it gives me a nice secure feeling, but now, instead of grabbing everything that glitches, I think about it first.
Right, I'll climb down off my soapbox now, and go and hide behind HC's sofa. Where is it by the way? Hope it didn't get left behind when we moved.
Hope you all have a lovely day. As I can't find HC's sofa I"m going back to bed with a coffee and some paracetamol. I've developed a nasty sore throat overnight, and feel quite poorly.:(

I have to ask the people who do 'several' shops a day.......wouldn't you rather be spending time with family/kids/husband/friends?? I can't get my head round having nothing in my life except shopping.
Quality....not quantity?
The saddest thing I saw here lately was a child car seat piled up with chocolate. wouldn't the car seat recipient rather have your company than a bar of chocolate?? if I'm out of turn....sorry
Bit unfair to highlight one posted in the last part of your post.
Looking at when pop's posted her pic I expect the child in question was in bed. Besides how long does doing 6 or so shops take from doing just 1?Ignore reality. There's nothing you can do about it.
I have done reading too!
personally test's all her own finds0 -

In NE it was traditionally a way to mak food last longur.

Just my thoughts on very large APG. I dont get to do Asda very often but having been very poorly last 2 weeks and finally feeling better got OH to take me Friday and Saturday and got some lovely bargains and now have nearly £50.00 of apg to save for a glitch that i need. my little cupboard is still looking good and I put up my Keter shelves last week so its neat. I opened my last bottle of Olive Oil from the Filippo Berio coupons and have steak pizzaiola cooking away in the slow cooker with some reduced rib eye steak.
Since I discovered Elite in 2006 and DTD in 2012 I havent looked back. When OH and i split in 2008 I was quite frightened about bills but have gone from strength to strength and most of my bills are up to date and am about 4 years from end of mortgage.
Even DD'S wedding this year does not fill me with dread about cost. I have paid down payment on dress from earnings and have some extra jobs lined up for sis which should just about cover the rest of the costs.
Anyway I agree if people want to buy loads and loads of glitches and sell at car boot etc that's everyone's choice. Maybe not a good idea to say too much on here about it though.
Now question is I need a red wine thats maybe glitching in the 25% off as i am buying as much wedding wine as I can now. the Jacobs Creek seems to be missing from the 3 stores I visited since Saturday but want to get back to it tommorow.
Lovely day here in the west country am just about to go out and trim off all the brambles if my hedge trimmer is charged up.
All have a lovely restful day.0 -
sada will shut the apg policy down, they will end it. I have been doing this off and on for a very long time (years and years) with tosco etc etc etc etc. Just a little for me and mine and now more for dd etc as they have grown and gone away. All little extras, all for making our lives a little easier.
The common reason for closing down all the policies..greed. People boasting, crowing about how much they got etc etc etc etc.
Draw your own line about how far, how much, not my place to say but use common sense, think a bit further than tomorrow and the apg might last a little longer.
But when it does end as it will, as they all do, don't moan about and damn sada to hell and damnation..you helped cause it.:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0
