So how come people are getting capped on several smaller orders ? Do they have to be £50 exactly or is there some magic formula for doing it ? Seems very odd.

I was just thinking the same, i much prefer c&c shops than instore shops, much more convenient for me.

Maybe I am doing something wrong? Back to read the t&c's I think.
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)

If anyone's at Ideal Home tomorrow, there maybe some cupcakes about

Can you post one to my DS2? The poor child hasn't had a cupcake since Tuesday :o
His life isn't worth living. It might only be a cupcake to me but when you can't even drink coke a cupcake is mostly all you have to look forward to :o

TBH, I only found it out as a mistake a month or so ago and I would not do it in general terms. Would be stupid to load an account with a lot of money only then to lose it.

Question everyone. Getting Pinot Grigio as the white wine for DD'S wedding and was thinking as JC shiraz not working would get some of that too. Does anyone think it matters if we have selection of different white and reds on tables at the wedding or is it not done??

My dd wedding we put one red and one white on each table of 8. Toast fizz was pink and guests got a bucks fizz when they arrived.
I must say that the red was not really drunk as caught ex bil decanting all open bottles at the end and he managed 3 bottles to take home.

Ex was paying for reception and I paid for everything else (got the expensive half:eek:). Dad teased him terribly for not having a free bar:rotfl:
Both my sister and I did at our wedding and I don't think a single person was drunk. Dad didn't really drink but to his generation a free bar was what you did. Just not feesable nowadays.

I know people say wine depends on the food but I would put one of each on table
if red doesn't get opened you can keep for gifts.
Tables with kids also had jugs of soft drinks which is very cheap and easy and probably 1/3 of adults will only sip the fizz for the toast so great for the drivers.

Looking forward to hearing all about the preparations. I am sure you will be calling in a few favours from your catering contacts. Worse expense must be the cake:eek:

Just seen you said a selection of red and white. Do you mean different types? Personally I would put identical on each table but if you plan to replenish if drunk then I would say fine to have a second brand.
