Royal London - Anyone have any experience with this company thinking about transferring my pension into them?

I had royal London, but moved away and put my pensions into HL with a SIPP and can control it much easier on line.I'm a retired IFA who specialised for many years in Inheritance Tax, Wills and Trusts. I cannot offer advice now, but my comments here and on Legal Beagles as Sam101 are just meant to be helpful. Do ask questions from the Members who are here to help.0

Yes I do. A good quality personal pension. Can be cheaper with HL and they do a good job on the fund governance. Their service has gone a bit poor recently. May be a temporary blip as historically it used to be very good. They are expanding staff numbers and office space.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). They are a solid company - but in my experience for lots of their customers their online servicing is lacking.
I have an old stakeholder - not much in it - which was transferred over from to RL from Royal Liver. It is impossible to view it online - unlike my policy with say Standard Life which has an excellent system.
I think its partly they have taken over so many other firms you can rarely find anything useful on their website - as they have different websites depending on which branch (or former company) you took the policy out with.
Not putting you off - but if you like to be able to view your pension online not great in my experience.0 -

You have a legacy plan. Std Life have lots of legacy plans too that cannot be viewed online. Legacy plans across most providers cannot be viewed online.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
