This Spring sees Mammut relaunch its range of ropes with a series of exciting new technologies to cater for all climbers – from those heading out for a day’s cragging to Alpine mountaineers.
Mammut ropes are now segmented into three distinct categories – Dry, Protect and Classic.
UKC has teamed up with Mammut to give away a top-of-the-range 10.0 Galaxy Dry rope.
The Galaxy Dry is a highly durable single rope designed for the most demanding climbers.
- This competition is only open to registered users at UKClimbing.com and UKHillwalking.com.
- The winners will be notified by email.
- Prizes will only be posted to a UK or Ireland address.
- The winners' names will be announced on UKC/UKH and facebook.com/UKClimbing.

Water Repellancy: the Coated Core and Coated Sheath Technologies gives DRY ropes lasting water and dirt repellancy. DRY ropes only increased in weight by 1% during UIAA water absorption tests.0
