Yes, but he won't have to hand over the money to get one. I always think that it is important for children to see the connection between cash and what they buy online.

Yes I agree, I was speaking from a money saving point.

Actually some shops have offers on the gift cards eg Morrison's have in the past and might be cheaper than from say cdkeys.

Confiscate the console until he learns to pay for the purchases himself with his pocket money. If you do so also hide the bleach.
