If you thinks that genuine oak smoked cod fillets cost only £1 for 450g, then you probably deserve whatever frozen dross you bought from Farmfoods.
I suggest that everyone boycotts Farmfoods, 'cos there marketing agent has obviously lost the plot !0 -

Why? The deal was posted on HUKD two weeks ago.

Of course the product on offer is "genuine oak smoked cod fillets", what else would it be? It would be a criminal offence otherwise. People would get upset. The papers would run the story, and the FSA would investigate.0 -
Fish & Chips for lunch on Good Friday. Pitty there are no longer any proper Fish & Chip shops about no more. They have all been turned into pizza/kebab houses.0

I've bought these before, they're good value even when it's more than £1.
They are genuine fish but tend to be smallish pieces of various sizes. Perfect if you want to make a pie or cover in a sauce or you don't care too much about the appearance!;)
I suppose it's a bit like buying broken biscuits or mis-shapes. They taste the same.0
