Is it more common for being asked 3 months Current account statements? Are there many mortgage companies asking for 6 months?

We were asked for 6 months for a foreign currency account but 3 months for everything else. 3 months I think is standard but they can ask for whatever they want.0

Current account statements?
Some - none.
Some - latest month only.
Some - three months.
I can't think of any asking for six months as a standard request, unless evidencing rent payments, or sub-contractor invoice payments.I am a mortgage broker.
