  • if the item is out of stock, dont forget to get a "special offer promise voucher"

this will enable you to have the product at the promo price when they are in stock.
  • my tesco doesn't have shelf labels for boxes of size 6 so i assume they don't sell them. i got an economy pack today, the ones that are usually 8 or 9 pounds. am ordering more online so i don't have to carry them home. one advantage of going instore today was the kids clothing sale, got some excellent bargains such as a abby's dress reduced from £8 down to £1.50!

somebody asked about baby basket - you need the coupon, they send it when you join the baby club. then you have to buy newborn huggies to get the basket free. coupons include points for the huggies newborn and points on a total spend (250 points on a £10 spend i think) so the discounted nappies would count towards that. the basket contains money off huggies coupons and also a 250 points on a £15 baby spend.

for all those who got 6+ packs of nappies are lucky, because i work for tesco and on the tills it tells us to only allow 2 packs per customer, i had to refuse 2 customers today as they wanted to buy 3 packs of nappies. rules....... some are so strange
  • that's odd - nice that it leaves some nappies on the shelf for everyone else, but when you order online you can have more than 2 packs so the rules don't apply there.

i bought 2 packs today and i also bought pampers newborn and some swim nappies - all 4 of them were reduced by a third but i didn't get more than 2 of the same item.

When I was waiting at customer services today disputing the price of some pampers i bought, I noticed the sign up about bulk purchases. It said something about the maximum number of each individual item a customer could buy was limited to 6 per customer.

I am guessing this means that you could buy as many DIFFERENT types of nappies as you want, with a maximum of 6 packs of each.

no, we can only sell you 2 packs of nappies full stop, dont matter if its two the same or two different packs, only 2 packs per customer, although you can get round it by paying for two packs on one transaction and then another two on another transaction. etc

i think this is only while promtion is on.............i think

Bought 7 packs from Abingdon yesterday and didn't have a problem. I wonder if it can be overridden on the till?

The shelves were looking a bit bare, but also got some wipes on offer. 1/3 off and 500 points from coupons made it a nice visit.
