Boots Grabbit Bargains Thread part 11 - post your finds here

  • Oh, and while I'm asking questions, can we clarify - do I have to spend £18 for the No7 GWP, or is it working with clearance stuff? Also, assuming it's working with clearance stuff, do I have to buy £18 worth of clearance stuff, or is it working like the sanctuary GWP appears to be, by using the original price of the stuff?

    Sorry for so many questions!

I know this is a bootsing thread, but seeing as other people started talking about it I've got to ask: I'm new to tescoing, whiat's a H&B leaflet? I never get any free stuff at Tesco, I think primarily cos my Tesco, even though it's a huge Tesco extra, doesn't have a pharmacy!

H&B leaflet is Health and Beauty leaflet with money off coupons inside. These can combine with other coupons Tesco issue so you end up paying pennies for toiletries.... or a lot of the time with the right combination they are free!
These leaflets can be found on pharmacy counters, beauty aisles, customer service desks, Tesco garages, and from tables sometimes set up at the end of the toiletries aisle.

    I've reported this previously:
I've tried that recently (twice on different days with different SAs), but had to buy something not in clearance* (as well as the refine and rewind, which is £17.25) for the till to accept the gwp. I believe someone else reported purchasing sthg reduced (perhaps not clearance) and was able to get the gwp.
    This is what I know...

Welcome to a very addictive habit. I live on an Island too and have great fun trying out all the tips on this thread. I'd be even happier if we had a working ACM too. Enjoy...

I’ve just been in town and of course had to check boots sale… I grab some really nice xmas bags for 10p and gift tags for 5p…

They have also hot water bottle covert BAGPUSS for £3.75, I don’t know if these are the same as lots of people were after in January sale (its looks like big white cat with pink strips)

i tried and failed with the sanctuary today, got the weekend bag and a reduced self tan thing, but the reduced self tan thing was reduced further and therefore total spend only came to 11.50. Tried again with the same sa, and low and behold the offer did not kick in with anything, she tried all sorts ALL DIFFERENT PRODUCTS AT FULL PRICE, even 3 weekend pamper bags so the offer would not work.
In all the confusion though for the first transaction, i ended up with a self tan thing and 2 bags, she must have been just as confused as me....
BUT BEST BIT..................IN THE WEEKEND BAG IS A 3 POUND COUPON!!!!
can anyone remember if you can use 2 of these in the same transaction? if so, 5.95 and 6.95 products minus 6 pounds in coupons is roughly 7 pounds for 2 items and another bag (with a coupon!) and a 5 pound voucher!!

used 9 of these vouchers today to stock up on time delay sa was fab and joked about the money i'd saved!
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D
