Lizalu - Was it the new camera voucher you tried or one of the old ones. I used my old ones last week and it went through fine but not used my new one yet.

I guess one of the new ones - tho I didn't have any "old" ones. Got it about 3 weeks ago, on a bit of purple paper. Tried it with three different cameras (voucher doesn't really specify which one) but they had to call over the manager to put it through.

This is what I use. Its about the same size as a long envelope IYSWIM. I bought these 60p and bogof in Partners stationers. Wilkiinsons also have packs of 4 clear ones for about 99p.

My local Sainsbury is doing these for 59p I think.....I keep all my vouchers earned from survey sites in one...its got about £100 worth in it so far :j

Sounds like all the new ones are having to be done manually.

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I've been lurking for a few weeks and picked up some great bargains/extra points so a big thank you. Thought I'd share some of the things I've found this week:

    1) If anyone has got the 200pts coupon for Huggies Little Swimmers from the parenting club pack (got mine in the 6-9 month pack) then you can use this with the trial packs which are usually 78p but currently 62p due to 20% offer. The first time I tried it the SA wouldn't put it through as she said I had to buy the big pack but it doesn't specify that on the coupon. The next time I tried the assistant manually added the points and I've used 2 more coupons since with no problems.

    2) I got a £1 off Botanics bathing coupon in the 9-18 months pack. I combined this with the 100pts coupon from the magazine and bought 2 Exfoliating bars at the weekend in the Oxford St store. They are currently on BOGSHP so should have been £3 however, one went through at £1 full price and the other at £1 due to half price offer. I then got the £1 off so got the 2 bars for £1 and the 100pts so they were effectively free.

    3) There is also a coupon for 200pts when you buy Pantene Time Renewel. Its currently half price at £1.49. I unfortunately used my coupon last week when it was still full price but hope this is useful for someone.

    4) For those near the Kew Retail Park branch all the sale items with clearance stickers are now being put through at half price too. I managed to get a Sony Memory stick and used the 500 point coupon. There were loads of memory cards there yesterday.

Now for a question. Has anyone tried to use the 500pts Olay Total Effects coupon with the £5 skincare voucher? What the cheapest Olay TE skincare product?

I used the 500pt Total Effects Coupon on the TE Hand cream which is £5.49. The coupon did not scan but the assistant added them manually.
I also used the Pantene Coupon for some Pantene shampoo at 1.49 although the assistant said I had to buy Pantene Full and thick ( or something like that!) because it is specified on the coupon. I actually says it can be used against any product but underneath tells you to try that specific product. I insisted that they honour the coupon and they added the points manually.
I also got 2 Time Delay Repair Radiance Balm and used the Stop Smoking guide £3.00 voucher and the £5.00 Skincare voucher so only paid 50p for each.( did 2 seperate transactions). However the ACM werent working, as usual, so could not try the Botanics Time to unwind glitch.
Not a bad haul anyway. I used the Time Delay product last time we had Skincare vouchers and it is fab. Makes your skin look and feel really good

My pantene voucher specifically stated Time Renewal yet still wouldn't scan and had to be manually added. Think I will get the hand cream with the 500 pts voucher then if thats the cheapest and try my luck at using the £5 voucher too as I've noticed others have used it on this despite the voucher stating facial skincare

Went into Boots in Picadilly circus (for the 3rd saturday in a row) to scavenge the last deals in the sale... got a couple of Ketsugo sprays (spot treatments) after remembering a recommendation from some of you on this thread aaaaaaaaaaaaaages back. They were £2.50 and would've been £9.99.

Also got a spare pair of sunnies, not that i'll be needing them in this weather  but figured that i might as well have a spare pair costing only £8 (50% off selected sunglass ranges) for when i do break the ones i have as i'm fussy with them.

Swiped 6 packs of those pocket things you seal photos in to make them postcards, always wanted them but £1.99 for 6 is too much, so 62p a pack in the sale was much more my liking :T

Final bargain was the best, saw a multi-lights highlighting kit thing for brown hair, which is usually £4.99, reduced to £1. Scanned the shelves, found a 2nd one for auburn/red hair, same reduction. Since I'm slightly addicted to altering my hair shades, but usually in the reds/browns..and only if there's an offer on hair dye i was mega pleased. More so when they were scanned through on the tills, and "multi-save" flashed up on the till... when I checked the receipt then i'd been charged nothing for both!!! must've been on a BOGOF or maybe a "£2 off when you buy two" lol YAY!!! skipped through the rainy streets after that :D

I've done this recently (pay with points), but had to buy something not in clearance* for the till to accept the gwp.
*Note: I believe someone else reported purchasing sthg reduced (perhaps not clearance) and was able to get the gwp

PS: any good news on the sanctuary/ natural collection gwp? :o

Oh yes! Have just returned from an early Monday Bootsing session:

1st - Two sanctuary treatment sets in clearance section for £6.75 each (Half price - dunno why as they are perfect) PLUS THE GWP!

2nd - Natural collection gift set and lip gloss in clearance section PLUS GWP

All paid for with points too....:T

Then got Time Delay Cleansing Cream, Facial Exfoliator, Hand & Nail Cream and Day Moisturiser with vouchers and stop smoking voucher. For a total outlay of £1. :T

Lastly.....ACM offer of Boots Vitamin E Cleansing Lotion 150ml free if you buy any other product from the range.....I tried it without any spend but it didn't work so bought Body Lotion.............for 99p! Also a voucher for free Soleil razor "refills" if you buy the new Soleil Clic - didn't work on it's own.

All those goodies and I spent £1.99.....lovin' it! SA laughed and waved as I left.

    :D
  • Grrrrrr @ Boots

Went shopping this morning nice and early, confused the poor girl behind the till with all my vouchers :rotfl: and 3 transactions.

Have been overcharged £3.50 and £1.38 plus I'm missing 200 points, yet she took the voucher  On the plus side, she gave me 3 skincare vouchers when one of the 3 transactions was only £4.34. And I've just realised she didn't charge me for a Boots Expert baby shampoo :rotfl:

Plus the ACM wasn't working so I missed out on all the offers I wanted :( I had a look for the Stop Smoking pack (Although I don't know what it looks like lol) and the Back to School pack with no luck

Phoned CS to be told I have to go back to the branch.... probably won't be able to get back for a week or so to that particular branch :(

Do you think an email will pursuade them to add it back in points? They've done it before for me

Also where is the Pantene voucher coming from? Not seen that, would be handy.
Wins since September 2011: Wedding (Worth £3500) :j Bridesmaids Headpiece (Worth £40) National Wedding Show VIP tickets (Worth £70) £100 Shopping vouchers... :D
