I'm waiting for a senior cs to call me back on that since they don't seem to know what they are saying there!! I'll let you know.

if we think about it: the SA needs to scan the voucher and see whether the till acepts it or not... If they don't scan it because they are convinced it won't work, there is no way for us to see, right?

Thanks for the help. Looking forward to some glitches!!!

I work at Boots and when you spend over £5 and pay with cash/card the till prompts us to scan the voucher and issue it to you. When you pay with points the till doesn't do this and the receipt prints straight away.

Aww, I want the no7 AND 17 GWP...but if I dare buy any more makeup, my other half will go nuts, although I do need some good foundation, pity the no7 stuff i've found to be pretty awful in the past.
Hi cerenia, is that your real name coz its lovely!
Foundation....try Estee Lauder double wear, pricey at £21.50 but lasts me a full shift as a chef in a hot sweaty kitchen! Never moves!
I bought a bottle last feb, i use it every day and its just running out, so lasted 18 months! ive tried no7 and no17 but both dont last for me. HTH:j

Just back from town where I had a quick visit to Boots (Edinburgh Princes Street)

    Sale was rubbish!

I fancy the Natural collection gwp ,its a very cute make up bag (or small toiletbag!)

The N07 gwp is nice too, much better than the bracelet.

I got the £10 off when you buy 2 no7 moisturisers and P+P.So I might do that to get GWP.What prices are the moisturisers?

I forgot to look for the No7 tins

I am annoyed that the Sanctuary weekend bag is back (slightly diff packaging) as I wanted to give one of the last lot as a gift next month:mad:

2 for £7 is finished on toni and Guy but if you buy 2 you get the pallette thing free.

In the end I just bought a reduced No7 lippy and eyeshadow to get £5 skincare which I will use on Time delay (see if it works with £3 in Quit kit!)
    :j I love bargains:j

Not quite i'm afraid - my name's Ceri, Cerenia's the home planet of a blue fox in a game I love, and it seemed classy, lol.

I'll have to go to a estee lauder desk to try the foundations, best one i've ever had was a thick Body shop winter collection one in ivory, only paid £1 for, but all of my tubes have been used up :( And having spot attacks in summer now as well, they say detoxing and eating healthy is good for your skin... 3 weeks into and still covered in spots >.< Had lovely skin before I hit 20, typical!

just back from a quick boots shop at kensington. clearance shelf looking empty, but managed to find a couple of things to buy..as you do;)
got to till and SA put everything through at sticker price (as opposed to 1/2 sticker price) when I pointed out there is a sign above the clearance shelves that states 'everthing 1/2 sticker price' she said she'd have to ask the manager about that because she knew nothing about it...typical of boots!
she came back a minute later and said '"yes, you are right" and reduced everything by 1/2 again including 2 hair brushes which she said were not part of the ' everything 1/2 sticker price' they were just 1/2 price. Does that make sense? I'm confusing myself now:rotfl:

I tried to use the 1/3 off botanics AC voucher + 100p mag voucher on a botanics self tan lotion for 90p, but only mag voucher went through. The bottle has an orange label. maybe the voucher only works with the green labels:confused: still, I earned 100points so not all bad. I spent 5.40 and earned my first new skincare voucher:j Also got the clarins mascara with voucher off woman and home website:D

No sign of the green bags everyone is finding at the pharmacy. Had a good look around but didn't see any.
  • I always pop into this thread but never find any bargains in my local boots (Gloucester) till today...

I got such a great haul, I'm sooo pleased with it!

They've got a clearance section in the baby/toys department and I popped in today as its DS's birthday tomorrow. I got there just in time because the lady had just started to reduce everything further!

    I got

Nat Geo Planetarium (shines stars and constellations onto ceiling) reduced from £20 to £2.50!
Fisher Price learning toolbench reduced from £20 to £3.60!
Plug & Play Pacman reduced from £20 to £2.50!
Tomy Swap & stroll snail reduced from £20 to £5.00!
Disney Sticker bonanza (huge box of stickers & album) reduced from £6.00 to £1.50
Royal ballet bendable doll reduced from £8.50 to £1.63!
Tomy Splashy the penguin reduced from £8.00 to £2.25!

    Grand total of £18 (ish)!!

They had loads more stuff but it was all I could carry as I had to get the bus home, lol!
