    Hey bootsers!

i havent been on in a while so am very behind! i popped into boots today and there was a few things in clearance, however i was a bit confudled!

there are some things with red stickers on in clearance with signs saying half the sticker price.

Then in a different section there are items with the usual white written clearance labels on...are these also half price or is it only as the sign says items with the red labels???

    thanks for any help! xxx

It is only th Red sticker ones that are half price. The clearance with the white sticker are not half price

Oh well, its part of a birthday present anyway. She'll love it still :rotfl:

Yeah, they're gorgeous! There's a Pucca makeup kit as well, £10 (£5 in the half price sale), but I don't really want to pay £5 for something that i'll need to get one to look at adoringly and one to use, waiting for them to go to 75% off xD

Hi there. Welcome to MSE and the (very addictive) Boots thread.
To change your options to see the last post first make sure you are logged in and then click on USER CP near the top of your page. On the left hand side click on EDIT OPTIONS and then go to the third box down which says THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS. The default is Linear - Oldest First to display posts, but click on the drop down box and select LINEAR - NEWEST FIRST. Then at the bottom of the page click on save changes.

To get back on topic, I bought two photo frames the other day on BOGOF, a Boots hair colour and an Olay handcream and didnt pay a penny in cash as I had an ACM voucher for a free hair colour ( my second from the machine) a £5 skincare voucher for the Olay and a £10 Boots gift voucher from Pigsback. I love getting stuff for free!!!:D :D

Thanks Danigrace on the info regarding changing thread options I was wondering how to do this too, and with your kind instructions I have managed to change my settings very easily. So A BIG thankyou

Well done on getting your free goodies from boots -I have become quite addicted to this thread in the last couple of weeks and last Thursday I purchase 12 of the skincare vouchers on ebay for £10.50. Went to boots on saturday after receiving the vouchers in the post and acting all daft asked a lonely looking sales assistant how many I could use in one shop as I had noticed that on the back it said one per transaction. To which she replied "Oh we are quiet at the moment if you want to I will show you all the best deals on offer and you can pick which items you want and I will put them through for you.

So off we went filling my basket and I manged to get loads of Timedelay stuff including wipes, eye brightener, cleansing cream, tanning cream and a few others. All in all I got 2 of each of 6 products in the time delay range and only paid £2.20 extra for the ones that were slightly over the £5 range.

After being slightly embarrased to start off with my husband opinion changed somewhat and he was well impressed and said "Oh I will have to tell my mum about this as she uses Time Delay" to which I replied " Oh no you wont - because 6 of these items are going into her Christmas hamper that I am making up for her this year" Husband was even more impressed at the thought that I had managed to acquire all this loot for the bargain price of £ 12.70 (including the cost of the £5 vouchers from ebay) and that it was going towards christmas pressies.

All in all a great weekend of bootsing and my christmas hampers are starting to look brill. Thanks to all you guys You are All GREAT
