Went into Boots with OH today. Just wanted to pick up 4 lots of photos. OH saw me paying with vouchers and got extra points. I also did buy 2 TD with £3 + £5 discount vouchers. He complained me a lot and said that Boots might put my name on the black list. He even started to mention about this when we were instore. There was a Boots staff nearby us. I thought she heard what my OH said. I also looked at her name badge, found that she is a duty manager. Oh, my god. She looked into my face, but didn't say anything. I think she recognised me as I used to return my .com shopping with her once. I was hurry to walk out from the shop. Might have to avoid to visit my local boots for a while.

My question is, can Boots take my points out from my card? I have nearly £150 on my card now. If Boots find out that I have built up my points by ordering online, using extra vouchers, etc, will they take them back without contacting me?

    Thanks.

if boots are offering incentives and promotions and customers are taking advantage of these perfectly legal offers and glitches then i do not see any problem. Why would they take your points when you have earned them fairly-nothing to worry about at all imo-boots probably get more profits this way than they would without the advantage card.I don't think theres a black list-more like a good list of bootsaholic regular customers. The staff might stare but so what i rang customer services once and asked a superviser if they mind me shopping there everyday and her answer was that this would be their dream come true!At the end of the day boots know that any points will go back into their profits and then the cycle of spending buying and saving will start again as long as you are not doing anything illegal there is no need to worry at all- most oh's get their yfronts in a twist over bootsing-bribe them with the durex bogof!

Why would they? You aren't doing anything wrong. Also how would the manager know who you are to do that.

    I wouldn't worry hun x

Ps. Wish I had that amount in points - I've only got £50!

I would have given my DH an earful if he had done that to me in Boots. I actually tell my DH to go to Game and look at games as I'll be ages in Boots. He's normally happy with that. :rotfl:

Picked up two lots of digital photos today and used £2 off vouchers. Gutted as kiosk was giving me 200 points but no paper in the printer. I really wish they could get a grip with those ACM machines. Also missed out on a total points voucher so a potential 550 points. I'm just sad my store has run out of sale Benefit makeup. I love the stuff.

No joy with the TD, the sa got team amanger, and I explained that they'd accepted it there before, showed my receipt, still nothing. Sa was the rudest woman ever, not the first time i;ve clashed with her - she literally shoved my book at me, saying "Don't forget this!" I'm in a mind to complain, she was so rude, didn't apologise, got 3 other members of staff there to lecture me about "only using one voucher per item", and nearly kept my £5 voucher, so furious!
