Hey new here.

I applied for a loan of 5k over 5 years on Tuesday 24th March I received the "approved in principle" message straight away. On Wednesday 25th March I received an email saying please call for a few more details before they can give me a definatley answer. I phoned and the woman went through my details and loam amount and purpose and said we can approve at a slightly higher Apr (no problem with that) she went through repayments etc and said she will order the documents to be sent out first class I sign them and return and they will release funds.
my question is will they do anymore checks or are they all done and I have deffo been approved? Anyone any experience thanks

Thanks. I've never had a loan with a proper lender like sainsburys so wasn't so sure. I'm very skeptical and always think the worst Like there maybe some more checks still needing to be done etc
  • I didn't have any further credit checks show up on my file after the documents were sent out.

Sainsburys don't lend people money, they are a front for some other money lender.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Yes it was a Sainsbury's loan and I'm just going by the searches that appeared on my credit report. No more searches were made after the paperwork went out.
