Notice of potential liability and cost Scotland

Hi guys

Not sure if this is the right area

I had a notice of potential liability and cost served on the title deeds of my property after a dispute with my old property factors.

I have since cleared the debt and they have issued me with a form of discharge.

I have contacted The Registers of Scotland to have the title deeds updated and the notice discharged however I have hit a brick wall.

They have advised they can't give legal advice and that I must contact a Solicitor who will advise on what forms I must send ang the fees associated with this.

Can anyone advise on what form must be attached to the form of discharge to save me having to pay a solicitor.

Thanks
