Charging order threat

i have today received a letter from a debt collectors, stating that they welcome my increased payment on my dmp and are happy to accept but it is there intention to issue a county court claim against me with a view to obtaining a judgement, and that if obtained will then apply for a charging order on my beneficial interest in the property.
I hold a joint mortgage on the property with my sister, how does this affect it.
I just need to know what to expect

Hi,
Since 2012 a creditor can apply for a charging order straight away, after obtaining a CCJ, regardless of weather your payments are up to date or not.
If you are a joint owner, and an order for sale were granted, the debt would be paid out of your share of the proceeds.
But orders for sale are quiet rare, it would just be a restriction normally.

I phoned this company up, to try and find out what was happening and was told that my file had been sent through to the litigation dept to see if they were going to continue with this and it would take about two weeks before i here anything, then at that time the litigation dept may be able to make some suggestions as to how to move forward.
I have been paying this through my DMP and have just increased the payment which they have accepted, will this set my other creditors off, once one does it will all the rest.0 -
