Would you do this?

If you were really deperate?
Would you ask everyone you know to give you £1? Just to help you out in your time of desperate need? (With the promise to help them out when they need it of course)
And if someone asked you to give them £1 would you give it to them?
Just something I thought of and thought I'd get your opinions :)

I can't imagine what £1 would buy that I would be desperate for, busfare perhaps? Found a £1 once when I had no money for food till the next day, got 5 samosas with it & was sick.

Yes I would give someone a £1 (just dont ask me)

Yes but I would only do it once (for that person) and If I could it would be more than a £1.

I always believe we should give without counting the cost when it comes to friends. I also give expecting nothing in return then I am never disappointed, but often pleasantly surprised ;) I have never had a friend who has taken advantage, but would think carefully about how to handle that situation with wisdom if it arose.

I never asked even when I was in extreme hardship, but my friends often met my needs and I feel very grateful for them.
