I was just wondering do many people on here win a lot with these competitions? And if so how many days after the closing date does it usually take for them to send you a letter?

And also how many times do people enter each competition? I have been entering every one about four or five times a day! Is that enough or should I be doing it more?

loads more, need to do it at least 50 times a day to get the rewards

Yes that is the thread I mean. Sorry I'm still a newbie so am a bit confused - I go to the last page of the thread where the newest competitions have been loaded and when I click onto a link it brings up the take a break site and it says at the top of the page you can enter as many or as little times as you want to..

If you mean this:

Please enter your answers to all competitions you wish to enter, tick the confirm box then click submit. You may enter as many or as few as you want. It's that easy!

It refers to magazines that have more than one puzzle in an issue. You can enter as many or as few of the puzzles as you want, but you can only get one entry per puzzle. It does NOT say "You may enter as many or as few times as you want."

Same goes for all comps - unless stated otherwise. tbh, I'd not bother with those that say you can submit as many entries as you like anyway - far too rubbish odds.

As for how many win, search the I Won board - but it's not a lot. I used to enter them when the mag first came out and never won (for years) and have been doing most on here (don't often miss them) since I started comping in 2009 (I think) and have never won. Did win £25 twice with I think maybe Pick Me Up and another, but that's it (I enter them all).

Better to concentrate on entering comps (once!) from the main comping board.

just a general tip aswell be careful of entering anything more than once tab are ok but other sites will disqualify you altogether
