'Persuading' Lloyds to offer better APR

I took the risk and applied, got all three!
Hmm... food for thought indeed.
I applied for credit recently with a computer components supplier (£800ish) and they said no, however 4 weeks ago I got credit for a £1100 sofa so I'm not really sure what state my credit score is in, and I've already used up all my free trials to check, lol.
If I apply for a credit card and get refused, won't that harm my credit score and potentially make Sainsbury's revoke their offer of a loan? Nothing's signed yet so it's not exactly secured.0 -
It will affect your credit score, that's why I said I took the risk and was very surprised when I got accepted for a card that apparently I had 0% chances to get.
if you can apply after signing the contract, that should be fine; I don't think they can revoke the contract after.0 -
Why not give it a try, the worse they will say is no.0

Welp, it didn't work. Best they could offer me was 22.8% APR so I posted off my Sainsbury's loan paperwork this afternoon0
