BTL retention offers ?

My BTL mortgage with Mortgage Trust will reach end of fixed term in August. Too early to bother my broker just yet to look for better rates than SVR, but wondering if anyone knows do Mortgage Trust/Paragon offer retention products? If so are they generally competitive?

First time landlord so trying to gauge how similar the remortgage process is for a BTL compared to Residential.

Why not give Paragon/Mortgage trust a call and ask !
They will know your outstanding debt and maybe able to do a desk top valuation if you are at the right LTV below 75%

Thanks Dimbo61, thought it was a bit soon to be bothering Them or the broker, but yes I'll be calling them as soon as I'm within a 3month window.

Unlikely there'll be rates available that aren't on the website.

Just as an update, i didn't think much of the retention products offered so new application submitted (via broker) for a remortgage with Virgin Money. Don't think i've seen them mentioned on this board and really hoping that's not a bad thing !
