Joint Loan Sainsbury's Personal

Hello everyone,

I would like to kindly ask advice about applying for Sainsburys personal loan.
I am looking for £5000 over 3 years.
I tried their soft search tool and it stated that I have 50% chance to get £3000 loan. When I tried £5000 over 3 years it said I cannot get it.

So I am thinking to apply as joint application with my wife. But she already has liabilities for about £3000. She pays about £200 a month. But no late payments or other such problems.

Do you think adding her on my application would increase or decrease my chances of getting a £5000 loan?

Thanks for reading this.

All the best,

Ripun
