Really worried change in circumstances will lead to IPA

Hi,
I have been BR for just over 9 months, so under 3 months until my year is up. I have no IPA set up. I am about to change job roles but continuing to work for the same company. The new role will involve me travelling between a number of sites every day instead of being in the one place as I am now. I will be receiving a pay rise as a result of the change (I don't know exactly how much yet but possibly £150-200 per month). This is not a promotion but is expected to cover the extra petrol costs and for maintenance to my vehicle.
I'll be letting the OR know about the change in circumstances as soon as I find out (should be within the next week or two). I'm really worried that they will see this as me having extra month every month and thinking I can afford to pay into an IPA. And I really won't know how much it'll be costing me on petrol for a couple of months as it will vary from week to week as to where I will be travelling to.
I'm also worried that they will ask me to get something in writing from my work. No-one at work knows about my BR and I hate the thought of having to tell my manager.
So, how likely do you think it is that the OR will try to set up an IPA? Because I have only 3 months until automatic discharge might they think that it's not worth doing it at this stage?
Thanks in advance,
BDA

Hi is there any chance instead of a pay rise they would pay you milage allowance?
I get 45p per mile and its classed as expenses on my pay slip and the examiner had no interest in this..0 -
Unfortunately not - I asked someone who does a similar role within the company if they got a mileage allowance on their payslip or just extra salary and its just down as salary, which is what has gotten me so worried.0

might be worth asking your boss the question, or any chance this can be delayed? You need to inform the O.R with 21 days of a change...so if it could be delayed may be an option0

Why don't you just up the mileage and maintenance figures in your SOA. That will take your surplus back down again?tell the OR the reason for this. Sure it will be okay.0

Thanks guys - I will try that. Hopefully I don't have to inform my boss and no IPA is set up. Its just so easy to get worried about these things when you go over and over them in your head. I feel I'm so close to my year being up and I don't want anything to get in the way.0
