Repeated littering by health care workers

Hi Folks,
My street has a number of elderly residents who are cared for by visiting health care visitors. Recently, one team has started littering their gloves. They must visit at least two houses on the street every morning and every evening, so the street is now seeing a build up of gloves on the pavement and in the gutter.
There is nothing to identify the health care workers in particular, they arrive in a private car.
I have small kids, it's only a matter of time before they pick up the gloves. Not to mention the gloves blowing into nearby rivers and damaging the life there.
Who on earth can I complain to? The workers are there before I leave for the school run and come in the day before I get home otherwise I'd have stern words with them.
Thanks,
BatCat

Do you have any proof that it is the healthcare workers ?
Gloves are not exactly controlled items and anyone may have them.0 -
No way of finding out who they are visiting and asking the neighbour which company they use?
How many care agencies are there? If there's only a few I'd ring round and mention the magic words "infection control risk" and "environment health" and ask them to speak to staff. Even if they don't admit it, they will know if they have clients in your street and should put a stop to it.
If all else fails, get onto the council. If nothing else, they could send the litter pickers out as an interim measure. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Geez, if that's the behaviour when they leave the client's house, I'd hate to see the actual standard of care insideNO MORE HANDWASH GLITCHES PLEASE

A friend is a care worker and they must put used gloves etc in a bin, usually in the client's house.
Find out which company and phone up and complain0 -
Thanks Folks!
I do actually know it is the healthcare worker as I saw him chuck the gloves out his car window while sitting in his car smoking a cigarette at the weekend. He was a big fellow, so I didn't fancy shouting at him in front of my kids.
They wear navy with a kind of yellowy orange sun thing on the pocket. I'd rather not ask the neighbours they are visiting.0 -

ask the care worker who they work for as you are looking for a job ,then snitch on them."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
Would this not be a case for the local council EHO?Dave0

You don't have to shout at anyone in front of your children.
Just go up to him, pick the gloves up, give them gently back to him and ask if he would dispose of them in a bin somewhere.
That's it xmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
