Feeling Really Pleased

Desperately want to but a new microwave as mine is so old I swear its going to blow up on me soon.

Anyway, the one I really, really want is £49.00 on Amazon with free delivery so just put it in my basket and about to go through to payment.

Conscience has just kicked in because I somehow found myself logging off of Amazon and logging onto internet banking where I have just reduced my overdraft by £50.00 instead!! :j

I think this MSE thing is really starting to affect my brain - in a good way of course!

    Well done!

You could see if you can get the microwave (when you can put it off no longer) via https://www.quidco.com - you may as well get cash back where you can if it's on offer! :D

  • Thanks, I had forgotten about Quidco, will investigate when I buy the microwave (can hopefully put it off for a couple of months or at least until the overdraft has been completely paid off).

    I must resist, i must resist :D

  • I am really pleased with myself for a similar reason. I really wanted a dishwasher, before moneysaving I would normally have just got one on the CC and then paid it back (or not), but I decided that I would really appreciate it more if I saved up for it. So at new year I started saving £2 coins in my pot hippy mini and resisited counting it for 6 months. I had saved £174 when I counted it! So a few more weeks push got me to my magic figure of £200 and I am now expecting delivery of my dishwasher tomorrow morning:j

It's only a basic model but I don't care, it still washes dishes for me!
