CeMAP Qualification

Options
Hi,

I am wanting a complete change in career and was thinking of studying for a CeMAP qualification. I have no current background in finance and was wondering if anybody could advise me on free training material or study guides for this? Or any advise at all would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael

Get an admin role in the industry to see what it is like first.

Don't waste your life training for a qualification that has such limited use - what if you decide you don't like the industry?

  • Spot on advice from amnblog - a newly qualified CeMAP with 2 or 3 years admin experience is much more sought after than a straight from school CeMAP.

  • Hi Michael,

I'm in the same boat as you. I have a stable job but I am considering completing CeMAP in my own time.

I have been looking at training options.....check out ncrowd.co.uk, they have CeMAP 1,2 and 3 for £99.

I just posted a thread to see if anyone has any dealings with Blue Mountain Training, they provide the online course and the materials required to complete it.

    Hope this helps!

Having cemap is of little use if you have no role to use it in.

If you want to advise you need someone to get help you get competent advisor status.

Even in an admin role cemap is no use without some experience.

Work out a career route before you take qualifications that you can only use in such a narrow area.
