Help to Buy

Options
Afternoon everyone,

I'm not entirely sure whether there's a separate thread for this, but I've seen a 1 bed property for £183,950 but, and I'm thinking of using the Help to Buy mortgage scheme (only going to put 5%). My main aim is to rent the property out. Average rents in the area are £737 pcm. The property I'm interested in is a new build. Is there anywhere I can get advice on this? / where do I even start from?!

Help would be very much appreciated!

  • Hi, I am doing help to buy to purchase my property and it has to be for the purchase of your only home, you wouldn't be allowed to rent it out nor would you be eligible if you already own a property.

To purchase and let a newbuild flat you are;-

unable to use HTB as that is for owner-occupation only

going to need at least 15% deposit.
