Mortgage Lenders and Childcare cost

Just thinking out loud here:
I notice that some mortgage lenders don't take into account tax credit.
Surely if lenders are taking into account childcare cost why not tax credit? For example childcare cost is £500 but get £200 in tax credit. I feel that lenders should allow you put down £300 as childcare cost.
I might be wrong but like I said earlier thinking out loud. Please what are your opinions on childcare and mortgage lenders?

I can think of a lender that doesnt ask child care cost and does allow tax credits to be included in income.
Its down to the lender to decide what they will or wont take into account.
I wouldnt worry about the why, just tell them what they ask.I am a Mortgage Adviser

Also just to be clear. When I say tell them what they ask, I dont mean tell them what you think is fair.I am a Mortgage Adviser
