The old sphygmomanometers actually showed blood pressure with mercury against a gauge and a U-Tube manometer was also used to measure pressure.

Was that atmospheric pressure, or pressure above atmospheric pressure, where a Bourdon Gauge was needed?

Hi everyone. I am awaiting a decision from a Nat west underwriter as we speak! Full application went in on 31st December. I do like to have a flutter but I am getting increasingly more nervous that they are going to find something they don't like on my statements.

Was just wondering if we are going to get a big fat no because of my silly spending. I only bet 10 to 20 pound a week. Also tried to get an extension on my overdraft about 2 months ago and think they might think I was trying to get the OD to gamble (I wasn't) . Any help would be appreciated
