Hi All
Following a real pour period of time oin mylife which i wont bore everyone with , I was left with a lot of debt and no job. Things have changed , I now have a job and pay around 55% of my income to creditors with rest going to parents. I was forced to move back home to tackle my debt problem
My parents are now moving to the north of the country and unless I move out , will have to go with them
I dont really want to move , as my income will lower , no friends and no prospect off ever moving on.
I am not yet on an IVA and have reached agreements with all criditors.
Has anyone approached creditors in a similar situation to me , when there costs of living have gone up.
To cut things short , I pay £250 a month to my parents. This will go up to £450 (including bills) so I have to claw back £200. I can afford it by cutting back severely , but it will mean that creditors will need to take a cut as well.
The other option is to move with parents , give up my job and pay creditors little or nothing until I am working again
Brian

Are you in a DMP with a company or have you made the arrangements yourself? Might be worth considering if you're not as they might help you with the reduced income?

hi have u got anything to sell, have you got any mates who could possibly rent you a room, to pay £450 per month seems a lot could u put yr name on the local housing list as i think it would be more affordable, and enable u to cut back on yr expenditure.0
