    Thanks. Is it good enough to inform them when he submits the 2014/15 tax return or does he need to do it beforehand?

    All the while an authority is in place, KPMG would be able to access data relating to your son's UK tax affairs, so if he doesn't want them to see anything further then he should rescind the authority as soon as possible. Saying that, there probably won't be anything new until the 14/15 tax return is submitted, so no real rush I'd say.
