Worthy Charities for unwanted prizes??

I was wondering if anybody could recommend any worthy causes/ charities that would be grateful for unwanted prizes?

Maybe as gifts for people they support of raffle prizes etc?

Not that im not grateful for winning prizes because of course I am!!! but its also a hobby and you dont always want everything you win.

Thanks Nicki x:j

Maybe runner up prizes that they won rather than the 1st prize. (sometimes I enter hoping for the runner up prize rather than the main one lol :)) can always find a home for ones I cant use though:)

I enter comps that I may not necessarily desire the prizes for, dont get me wrong im more than grateful for winning and the buzz is amazing....

However.. id rather give the prizes to somebody who would want then than ebay them..

    surely thats a good thing?

no it's not but the question still remains of why enter them if you don't want the prize in the first place?

You don't need to justify why you choose to enter a competition. My guess is that you entered for the best reason of all: because you wanted to.
