I recently got the headline rate of 3.9% from First Direct on a 20k loan.
They cut the headline offer to 3.6% the next week but I was pleased to get their best rate at the time.0 -

No defaults, one late payment on a barclaycard which was 1 day late about 3 years ago.
I did have credit card debts and some buy now pay later agreements which the loan was partly used to clear.
Other debt is mortgage and bmw pcp finance.0 -
You can probably get a lower rate approved with vehicle finance via the dealer.
A search will be recorded on your credit file, but no other lender will know if it was approved or declined or otherwise...0
