15% is not a great APR anyway, I don't see what the fuss is about, I thought you were just going to leave and find a better bank.

I'm confused, we had a Lloyds loan, and were allowed to "overpay" and didnt get any charges, you would only get charges if you weren't allowed to "overpay"?

Just as a heads up Halifax are Lloyds banking group as well so if you are going to leave Lloyds and don't want to be with them at all then don't go to Halifax (I've never had an issue with either of them but just giving you a heads up incase you didnt know)

Have left them now. Now with santander, who are offering 6% Apr so all worked out in the end.
