First time remortgaging and feeling lost!

Options
Wondering if anyone is aware of any banks or alike who allow you to remortgage when you initially bought your home with a help to buy scheme?

We bank with nationwide and they wouldn't do it unless we had a substantial lump sum to pay in addition, which we don't.

We initially bought our home using this scheme 2 years ago and our mortgage is currently with Halifax.

Ask Halifax for its product transfer options, or look online.

Assuming you don't want to remortgage to repay the equity loan and want a straight £ for £ refinance, only Leeds BS has announced an appetite for such business so far.

    No recommendation intended.
