Hi all,
i have applied to buy my council property (free-hold) and it has been approved.
Valued at £310k, discount of £103k applied and a bal of £207k now to be mortgaged off.
I have a credit score of 651 (poor) and I have 1 settled ccj and 1 deliquent account (due to go off in may 2015)
I have not had any credit activity for over 8yrs (not applied for any credit cards/ car loan / loans) etc ..
All of my bills have been pay as you go and any that required monthly payment - my bro has had in his name and i have just paid off.
I am looking for a mortgage for the above amount, I am in the UK and i am self employed currently consulting for an IT firm
Can anyone give advise on how to progress this?
I have my 10% deposit if required.
Thanks
