Oops I did it again

Here we go again, month coming to a close a searching around for the mortgage to be paid, thought I was doing well not spending on my account (the dd's come out from it and there is never enough money to cover them) so somehow persuaded myself that it would be ok to use my OH card, (he has nothing to do with it and prefers to deal in cash). OH account down to £39.

Have decided its time to grow up (I'm 60 this year).

Am on a dmp which I sort out myself, but paying £1 a month to most of them but would really like to pay them off eventually.

I have decided to try and write something every day to keep me on the straight and narrow, also not to drink during the week (slipped up once during this week, but it was DGD birthday and we had a house full, needed calming down and the prossecco was on a meal deal in M&S (a lovely it was too), got discount as I work there.

Am trying to get to bed before 11 every night, have 3 days at work from tomorrow so signing off.

Will list my debts at a later date, (when I'm feeling brave enough).

Love reading everyone's diaries.

Night night.

  • Well didn't do too well with my "writing everyday in my diary", missed two days already and failed miserably on the no spending melarky, last night took GS to the theatre (all paid for) but the bar always costs doesn't it?, good childrens play though.
Thought I was safe at work today but had such a busy day, and short staffed, thought I deserved a bottle of wine (not helping with the SW.

Have decided to start seriously on Monday when I am off work and can make a list of my debts.

  • Thanks beanielou, will do, small steps, by the way love your pic of the cat, I love a cat, but ours got run over last year and he was only 1, can't bare the thought of going through that again.

Anyway had a no spend day today, its not going to be tomorrow as I have OH birthday this week and have to buy a small present, have a voucher and discount so won't be bad, and off to SW but hopefully only have another couple of weeks before I meet my target and then I don't have to pay, better be good and keep off the vino.

I am going to have a look at my debts and make a list tomorrow and hopefully seeing it on here will make me get off my behind and do something about them.

Have a good Sunday evening x
