Aldi Water Filter - will it take Brita-shaped filters?

Aldi have a water filter in today, which looks similar to a Brita jug. £4.99.
They also have cartridges for 1.40 ea.
does anyone know if these take Brita/Brita shape / Generic cartridges once one's Aldi stockpile has run out?
Thanks
Dz

No idea really, probably not.
The filters are permanently in stock, though, so you can get more once you've run out.0 -
Thanks.
I went ahead and bought a jug and a whole tray of filters, and can confirm that they are interchangeable with Brita. But a fraction of the cost!

Fraction of the cost, even better.
How much is a Brita filter, anyway?0 -
the filter packet has a phone number on it (sorry thrown it away now) to call for replacements.0
