    thankfully I already have 30 yrs (27 c/o) so under current rules will get full basic SP, but still have 20 yrs to go before state pension age, so could still add up to 20 yrs of x/35 to my single-tier SP up to the max it is at the time.. see, over-complex ;)

    Thank you.The post that inferred it WAS aimed at me has been removed.Hopefully had second thoughts about being so unpleasant.There will be a lot of people not even trying to understand the complexity of pensions,and that is why emotions sometimes run high,but to those who are in genuine hardship,it can be a worry.

    Whoever said it would "Ruin their lives"? cant someone post a comment without the pompus MSE PC brigade coming up with the usual "Your only jealous" stuff?
