I've had a few. Three were local organic farms. Then, when the last one stopped delivering to my area, I used Riverford for a while. At the moment, I'm just popping to the local greengrocer as and when.

  • I've used a local company called Vegbocs (https://www.vegbocs.com) for 6 months now. Never going back to supermarket veg!

Sometimes I get a small box from Ocado with my delivery, depending on contents, because I get 10% off with a Smartpass.

I buy more exotic organic fruit & veg from Abel & Cole, (but not as a box) and everyday stuff from Sainsbury's or Ocado - I check the offers.

Lidl, ASDA, Morrisons and Aldi locally do have some organic stuff but not enough for me to be able to shop there every week.

Despite having a Tesco Extra here and another close to my mother, I find that they don't have much organic veg either.

Sainsbury's seems to have really increased their range of organic food and Waitrose has quite a bit as well.

There's only the two of us, so a veg box might be more economical for families ?

I would recommend Abel & Cole, Riverford and Ocado veg and of the other supermarkets I think ASDA does really good quality for the price.

I've started using 5 a day (on the recommendation of a poster on a different thread) - I highly recommend them as, if you order the large box, you get loads - one big banana box and a second, slightly smaller box, with 20 different fruit and veggies. There are three of us and I use a lot of veggies but a large box lasts two weeks for veggies and a little less for fruit.

Another plus is that I visit the supermarket a lot less so I'm not only saving money on fruit and veg, I've reduced the amount I spend on impluse buys.
Don't judge people on they way they look, the way they speak or what they're called because they can't help that.

Only judge people on what they say and what they do.
