    For anyone who is interested, they do offer this if you fix as an existing borrower (apparently).

    So, after a discussion it seems I can do the tracker at the end of the fix without any penalty as per SVR. Only cashback and exit fee need to be repaid if I sell and redeem.

    Quite a good idea, given how much the repayments drop for me - which I will then overpay or save.

    No hope in this case Dimbo61, as I will be over £500 pounds better off pcm, but yes that would be the idea generally.
