Old Company PIA pensions

Greetings all
I am hoping there is someone on here that can give me the advice I am hoping for.
I have an old company PIA pension with "the company" and run by BlackRock, I was made redundant from "the company" 5yrs ago, I have approached BlackRock several times to ask if I can continue to make contributions into my pension, they say no because "the company" name is on the pension.
Is this true that I cannot continue to make contributions because "the company" name is on the title?
Do I have any grounds for legal action ?
The fund is extremely strong and very good interest, I would lose out big time if I transfered it to another pension fund !!!!!!!!

you can transfer the pension or you can just set up a new pension online with someone like Cavendish?0

If you are happy with the PIA (personal investment account?), leave it where it is and start another pension?
Are you employed and is there a company pension scheme?
Are you self employed/working for your own limited company?0
