                    Just wondered if it is worth shopping round for a mortgage with my present situation, my partner and i have split up and i will be left approx £70000.I am 55 in November and can take £20000 lump sum pension if i want.My problem temporarily is i am working part time only earning 9500.Will any Mortgage company offer me a mortgage, i have no debt whatsoever.I am looking for around 30/40000 mortgage.

            On the basis of income alone you won't obtain a mortgage of the level you wish for. Any possibility of increasing your hours.0
