You cannot tag someone if that's how they have it set in their FB account and unless you are friends any direct messages go into "other or spam" so you only see them if you look in there as there is no notification for them.0

What's supposed to happen on FB and what actually does are sometimes two completely different things.0 -
I won a comp a couple of weeks back and they announced it was me on facebook. They couldn't tag me as I don't have an account. They did send me a wem though.
I found this out as I google my name with 'competition winner' quite often in the hope I have won something but haven't been notified!Won in 2015 - £100 amazon voucher, bearhug desk0 -

I suggested that the winning entrants reason was not brilliant, and he just said that it was judged that way, but in the future they may consider having different categories of competition.
Under the terms of the CAP code for competitions, you can write and ask them to give you the winners details, but they are only obliged to tell you the winners name and county.
It looks like we might have to let this one go. Sorry you didn't win.
Thank you for taking the trouble to do this, yes I understand there is nothing else that can really be done. I didn't expect to win, but I always remain hopeful lol and I'd been following this comp closely because the prize was so fab. I really appreciate you trying to help
