Myself and my husband were going down the help to buy equity scheme we had offer on house and aip with Santander we failed on atp from help to buy that was that.
We then found a different scheme where we put down 5% deposit and the developer of the property puts in 25% which we do not have to pay back or pay rent on unless we sell or decide to buy the rest. We spoke to Mortgage broker that is dealing with this scheme with others. We filled out all forms sent all proofs of everything. The broker put in the aip today and came back as refer from nationwide what does this mean?
Do you think its the end of the road already for us?
Many thanks

No, it's not the end of the road. Refer means a real human being is going to look more closely at the application.
I've not heard of this scheme, is it just from one particular developer?Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
