Due to my posting of this thread I have been contacted by several members in similar situations. One of which was quite knowledgeable regards car finance and actually helped me secure a deal that shaved £3500 off what I had already been quoted. I'm sure even Mr.Lewis himself would applaud that as this in my opinion is one of the main reasons for this site, getting better deals and saving money. I was also able to "knock down" several dealers in the realms of £2000 to £3000 on three occasions as well as improve the trade in value of my car.
Just over two weeks ago I thought I was stuck in a bad finance deal with a car I no longer wanted and afraid to do anything about it. With some clear advice and support from this site and its members I have secured the deal I wanted at an affordable rate. I still cant get over it and would once again like to thank the individuals (you know who you are) for their support and genuine advice.0 -

I'm with those who say you're mad to spend so much on a car.
My first thoughts on reading your posts is that you are going for the absolute maximum on finance that you could possible get. Why not aim lower and not stretch your finances to the limit?"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
What exactly does the new car do that the old one doesn't to justify a 14k loan. Also in 3 years are you just going to sell the new one you have bought? Have you considered leasing0

Madness.
You must be a car salesman's dream - financially illiterate.
How many years and thousands of pounds wasted in interest until this new car bores you?Thinking critically since 1996....0
