Financially linked

Hi,
Me and my dad applied for joint bank account it was rejected dude my dad's bad credit score. I am worried will I be financially linked with him?

    Are you financially linked ?

    Eg a mortgage

    No just we was rejected a bank account together. Just worried as he is in a lot of debt .

    So you have a bank account together so a joint account ?

    If he's in debt then he needs to get help.

    They have not got a bank account together, they were rejected for one, that is what the OP is saying and asking whether this application will link them financially. As it has been rejected it should not link you financially as it will have been your dad`s bad credit record that would have led to the rejection. If you join Noddle you can confirm whether there is any financial link between yourselves, HTH?
